Why I do this
Hi, I'm Sally. I'm a professional home organizer working across New England, and I live in Newburyport.
My own closet has been organized by category and color for as long as I have had a closet. It is not discipline. It is just how my brain sorts things, and I have never been able to turn it off.
My background is in healthcare consulting. I liked the problem solving, but I wanted to be hands on, and I wanted the people I was helping to be people I actually knew. That turned out to be the whole thing.
For years it was only friends. Someone would mention a closet they had stopped opening, I would offer, and they would say yes. What I noticed every time was that the relief had almost nothing to do with the shelves. It was being able to see what you own and not think about it again for a year. Starting is the hardest part, and sometimes you just need someone to make the jump with you.
It is only ever me. No assistants, no team. The same person is in your home from the consultation to the last shelf.
Outside of this you will find me at the beach, trying a new coffee shop, or skiing. I am a certified yoga teacher, I bake constantly, and I have a four year old Frenchie named Louie who supervises.
